ZTE Blade Q Mini Launches in the UK

We first caught sight of ZTE’s Blade Q Mini about three months ago, in late October. The device was launched as part of the company’s new Blade Q range but ZTE didn’t confirm launch details at the time of unveiling.

This week, ZTE launched the device in the United Kingdom. The Blade Q Mini is exclusive to Virgin Mobile and is right smack in the middle of ‘mid-range’ as far as specs are concerned. It boasts a 4-inch WVGA TFT display, a 5-megapixel camera, 4 GB of storage, and android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The whole thing is powered by a Mediatek MT6572 SoC with dual core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400 graphics.

Of course, the upside to a budget smartphone is the low price. The ZTE Blade Q Mini is priced just shy of £60. Available starting today, there’s no word on whether this is a Virgin Mobile exclusive for good, or if the carrier has only procured the exclusive rights for a specific period.
