The Tom's Hardware Community is constantly busy. Whether our members are discussing the site's latest articles and reviews, providing tech support and building advice, or playing the latest PC Games, we have so much great stuff going on that it could make your head spin! Not to worry -- Community Roundup is here to let you know the best of what's going on in the Tom's Hardware forums on a regular basis.
- Over the years, Tom's Hardware has tested its fair share of cases. The experienced PC Builder will consider far more than just aesthetics when choosing a case. Good airflow is of utmost importance. Your components will be cool and your noise levels will be low with the proper airflow setup. Each month, we round up the Best Cases to help ease your purchasing decisions. Take a look and let us know what you think in the comments.
- We also managed to update our Best SSDs guide. The SSD market is undergoing rapid change. NVMe is on its way to the mainstream market while SATA SSDs can barely keep up on a pricing front. As CPU performance hits new and unforeseen heights, processors increasingly spend time waiting on data from hard drives. This is what makes storage today's most glaring bottleneck, and overcoming it requires an SSD. Frankly, the real-world differences between SSDs in a desktop environment aren't altogether large. The most noticeable performance increase occurs when you go from a hard disk to just about any solid-state drive. Take a look at the guide and let us know what you think in the forums.
- We created this MegaThread to serve as a central hub for all discussion, tutorials, reviews, and FAQs related to Dell's very popular XPS 13 notebook. This thread will contain rumors, specifications, benchmarks, and other noteworthy news. Relevant and helpful links, whether they are to a tutorial, review, or benchmark, will be copied and updated to the MegaThread. Have an experience to share? A review to give? Give us your expert opinion and let your voice be heard.
- Hey everyone! We've got another great Steam giveaway for you! Up for grabs are three (3) copies of Hover Junkers. As always, one will be awarded via the raffle (found above), and two will be given away to participants who answer the discussion prompt below. Earlier in the year we had a blast talking to Alex Knoll, director of Hover Junkers, and we're proud to offer his studio's game in this latest Steam Giveaway. Dodge, shoot, and blast your way to victory in Stress Level Zero's multiplayer shooter. Head to the forums for your chance to win.
