Here Are All the Project Athena Laptops We Know About

Intel announced Project Athena at CES 2019 in an effort to push ultrabooks towards higher performance, longer battery life, the best of connectivity and quick wake from sleep. At IFA here in Berlin, Intel's OEM partners have pushed forward the first wave of those laptops with a list that spans 8th and 10th Generation Intel Core processors, business notebooks and consumer laptops from six different laptops.

They include:

  • Acer Swift 5 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Acer Aspire 5 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Acer TravelMate P6 (8th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Asus ZenBook Duo (10th Gen Intel Core i5)
  • Asus UX463 (10th Gen Intel Core i5)
  • Asus ZenBook 13 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Asus ZenBook 14 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Asus ZenBook 15 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Asus ZenBook Flip 15 (10th Gen Intel Core i5)
  • Asus AsusPro B9 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • Dell Inspiron 7000 14-inch (10th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7)
  • Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (10th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7)
  • Dell XPS 13 7390 (10th Gen Intel Core i3 and Core i7)
  • HP Envy 14 x360 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
  • HP Pavilion x360 14 (10th Gen Intel Core i5)
  • Lenovo Yoga C940 (10th Gen Intel Core processors)
  • Lenovo Yoga S940 (10th Gen Intel Core processors)
  • Lenovo Yoga S740 (10th Gen Intel Core processor)
  • Lenovo Yoga C640 LTE (10th Gen Intel Core processors)
  • Lenovo IdeaPad S540 (10th Gen Intel core processors)
  • Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (10th Gen Intel core processors)
  • Razer Blade Stealth 13 (10th Gen Intel Core i7)
Interestingly, the list features specific processors for most models, suggesting that individual configurations may be Project Athena certified. We've reached out to Intel to get more information on that.

These are all scheduled to come out this year. Several of them were announced previously, like the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, which was the first machine to go on sale with Ice Lake.
