Club3D Announces World's First MST Hub with HDMI Outputs

Club3D has announced three new MST devices: the CSV-5200, the CSV-5300H, and the CSV-5400.

The first hub, the CSV-5200, is simply a two-port version of the original CSV-5300; it splits a single DisplayPort 1.2 connection into two DisplayPort outputs.

The second device the company has announced is the CSV-5300H. This device is similar to the original CSV-5300, but rather than splitting a signal into DisplayPort outputs, it splits a DisplayPort 1.2 signal into three HDMI 1.4 outputs – hence the "H" in the name. Club3D claims that this is the world's first MST hub with HDMI outputs.

Lastly, the company has announced its most extreme hub: the CSV-5400. You can probably already guess what it does; it splits up a single DisplayPort 1.2 signal into four DispayPort signals.

No word on pricing yet, though the units are expected to be hitting shelves sometime during Q3 2014.

It would be nice to see a detailed hands on review of these products. I remember when the original ones came out and they kinda disappeared after that, not to mention they are expensive.

I would love to have 6 monitors connected to my latop (when I am in the home office)
