ASUS P4B Intel 845 Motherboard

Well, we knew that we'd see more P4 mobos now that Intel has finally decided to "officially" announce the existence of the i845 chipset that makes them go. And, if you've been waiting to see just what options you have for plugging in a P4, you might want to take a look at ASUS's P4B motherboard for Socket 478 Pentium 4 processors. Because it uses the i845 chipset, you can pirate the PC133 SDRAM from your old machine. The board supports Intel Pentium 4 socket 478 processors, Intel i845, and ICH2 chipset, and has three DIMM slots for up to 3GB of PC100/PC133 SDRAM, support for AGP 4X (1.5V only), ATA-100/66/33 support, four USB ports, six PCI slots, one CNR slot, AC ' 97 audio, and an S/PDIF-out interface. Also included is an ASUS EZ Plug power connector so that you don't need to buy a special ATX 12V power supply to support the P4, as well as media support for SmartCards, SD, and Memory Stick. The board's S/PDIF-out interface enables connection to 5.1 speaker systems
