The PLA-400 HomePlug AV PowerLine Ethernet adapter and PLA-402 HomePlug AV PowerLine and coaxial Ethernet adapter are both spec'd at 200 Mbps maximum throughput and are said to support up to 16 connections "within one household". Both feature a single 10/100 Ethernet port and support QoS for multimedia streaming and 128 bit AES data encryption for network security.
The adapters have a "desktop design" and require no drivers to be installed.

The PLA-400 will be available in November at an MSRP of $94, with the PLA-402 following in December with an MSRP of $114.
