Zoom to share internet access
Zoom Telephonics is incorporating new software into its Zoom/HomeLAN PCI package to enhance the capability of networked PCs.
The product enables two or more PCs to network together using existing phone lines in the home. The addition of Sybergen Networks' SyGate 3.0 software allows users to also simultaneously share an Internet connection over the network using a single analog modem, ISDN terminal adapter, ADSL or cable modem.
The SyGate software also lets a client PC can dial into the Internet using America On Line's AOL 4.0.
