New York (NY) - An activist group has created an official YouTube profile to show the concerns of identity theft, by posting a video that shows a handful of banks where personal information can be easily obtained.
The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) posted a video of documents taken from trash dumpsters outside a handful of Chase branches in New York City.
The group is also endorsing a new blog called "Chase Trash." Describing the video, the unnamed blogger writes, "Check out this footage of bank account numbers and other personal information I found in the trash bags at Chase Banks throughout the Big Apple. That's right, in trash bags on the curb outside Chase Bank branches in Brooklyn, Chinatown, Queens, and the Upper East Side."
The video can be seen here.
