Judge cites YouTube video in ruling
Chicago (IL) – A U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judge has cited a YouTube video in a recent ruling against Leo Stoller, a perennial legal troublemaker who likes suing over the word “Stealth”. Stoller had sued Major League Baseballer Hall-of-Famer George Brett over baseball bats marketed as “Stealth Bats”.
Judge Terence Evens referred to a YouTube video depicting George Brett in his Pine Tar Incident in 1983 where umpires nullified a home run after discovering too much tar on his bat. Evans said the Appleate courts were akin to the appeal decisions that eventually gave Brett’s team the win.
