Yahoo sued over privacy policy
A company that makes educational videos has filed a $4 billion lawsuit against Yahoo for failing to turn over personal data about its users.
Universal Image claims Yahoo violated an agreement it had with Broadcast.com - acquired by Yahoo earlier this year - to provide information about users of its video and audio programming, located on Broadcast.com's Web site.
Yahoo has a policy posted on its Web sites, stating that it generally doesn't share personal information with its partners unless it has the user's permission.
Yahoo declined to comment on the lawsuit.
