Yahoo woos the hungry with Yahoo! Food
Sunnyvale (CA) - Desk-bound geeks tired of eating Hot Pockets and Pop-Tarts may want to visit Yahoo’s new food page. Yahoo ! Food offers food information, recipes and valuable cooking videos for the culinary-challenged. Yahoo is even partnering up with some famous celebrities like Martha Stewart and Morgan Freeman to host shows and give their secret recipes.
The new food website can be accessed directly through food.yahoo.com. Users can search through thousands of recipes that can be arranged by occasion, cuisine type or ingredients. There are also cooking tips from 13 bloggers and professional chefs.
Kitchen newbies may want to watch one of the dozens of Yahoo ! Food’s videos before trying to cook a five-course meal for their families or loved ones. Currently the most watched videos feature Martha Stewart showing the correct ways in cooking and carving a turkey. Other videos are arrange by holiday occasion, like Thanksgiving, or by topic.
