ICANN shelves plans for .xxx domain
A proposal to create a suffix for pr0n sites using "xxx" has been rejected by Icann by nine votes to five.
The organisation held a meeting yesterday but merely said the application "had received much public comment and detailed discussion" by the Icann board.
