XiNCOM adds dual WAN VPN router, server load balancer
XiNCOM recently announced two additions to its Twin WAN router line.
The XC-DPG503
VPN Twin WAN Router supports up to 100 IPsec or PPTP VPN tunnels via
dual 10/100 Ethernet WAN ports that also support load balancing and auto-failover.
Other features include an integrated four-port 10/100 switch, SPI-based firewall,
port filtering, dynamic DNS, Dynamic or Static Routing and SNMPv1.
The XC-DPG602 Server Traffic Load Balancer is based on the same platform as XiNCOM’s other products, but is intended for server applications. It can load balance by Packets, Bytes rx+tx and Sessions.
Both products are due out in Q2 2004, at estimated retail prices of $299 for the XC-DPG503 and $399 for the XC-DPG602.
XiNCOM also announced a $30 rebate for its XC-DPG402 and $15 rebate for its XC-DPG502 for products purchased between February 1 and March 31.
