Xbox Includes 2 Free Games with Xbox Console
In order to spur holiday sales and to compete with Nintendo's GameCube, Microsoft will bundle two free games with its Xbox console for $199 US. starting today. Microsoft and Nintendo were reportedly tied with sales of 4 million consoles shipped as of June 30, 2002, while Sony's PlayStation 2 shipped 33 million units during the same time period. The Xbox giveaway will include Sega games "Jet Set Radio Future" and "Sega GT 2002."
