Xbox 360 gets embedded DRAM
NEC Electronics, Japan, today announced that Microsoft Corporation will incorporate embedded DRAM (eDRAM) technology from NEC Electronics in the next-generation Xbox(Xbox 360, Xbox next, Xbox 2) platform.
The embedded DRAM is expected to be used to enable the use of anti-aliasing and high definition graphics with almost no cost to system performance.
