X-Files sequel starts production this December
20th Century Fox has announced that the production of the second X-Files film is due to start on the 10th of December.
The co-writers of the first film were brought back in to write the script for the second film and are keeping the plot for the movie as quiet as possible.
The movie will see both agent Moulder and Scully (original actors of course) return to the big screen after the release of the first film in 1998. The sequel is set for release ten years after the first film in July 2008.
The original series ran from 1993-2002 originally but with all those awards (three Golden Globes) several stations, particularly the specialised Sci-fi ones, are still showing repeats of the show to this day.
