Worldwide PC shipments show double-digit growth
Driven by strong consumer demand and the popularity of notebook computers, worldwide PC shipments showed double-digit growth in the third quarter, two market research firms said Wednesday. "According to preliminary results from Gartner Inc., global PC shipments totalled 42.5 million units, a jump of more than 14 per cent over the same period last year."
