Wolverine Ships 160 GB PMP

With Portable Media Player storage now competing with computer hard drives, it is perhaps no surprise to see one of the worlds first 160 GB handheld portable media players. 160 GB is good for about 320 hours of video, or 50,000 songs, in case you were wondering.
The Wolverine ESP 5160 comes with a 3.6" TFT LCD display, FM Radio (including recording abilities) and connectivity to your TV, stereo system and other big-brother systems. It has support for all the usual suspects in the areas of video and audio playback and photo display, and the interface is simple drag-and-drop from your computer.
The player is 5.3"x2.8"x0.9" and weighs 10.2 ounces with its battery, versus 4.1"x2.4x0.43" and 4.8 ounces for an iPod. The larger size shows up longer battery life, though not by an amazing amount ; the ESP 5160 will manage 13 hours of music and 4 hours of video, according to the manufacturers. For a device of this size you’d prefer more in the way of battery life.
