Wireless Shootout Game, IR Finally Realized
Well, you can wait until doomsday for your PDA or cell phone to let you download files at a speed above 14.4, but if you want to have some fun with your wireless device, Freestyle Interactive just put out a multiplayer (within a few feet) game called Gun Fight, which you can play on the bus with a PDA-carrying compadre. Gun Fight is a two-player head-to-head game for Palm OS devices that Freestyle says recreates the "classic old west shootout." Features include two-player play over the IR port. To download Gun Fight to your handheld device, check out Freestyle's website . And remember Johnny Cash's words of wisdom from Folsom Prison Blues: When I was just a young boy, my momma told me son, always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns... Well, we doubt that you're going to hurt anyone with your PDA (unless you smack someone on the head with it) but bear in mind that shooting at things just ain't right.
