Wired publishes 2004 Vaporware Awards
Wired magazine today published its traditional Vaporware Awards for the past year. The award honors announced product which never made it to the market in time and in the past years included the new Amiga, OQO’s minicomputer (which was announced this year), Intel’s Itanium processor, Bluetooth and the still not yet seen Duke Nukem Forever, first mentioned back in 1997.
3D Realms’ Duke Nukem Forever fell from the list due to its Lifetime Achievement Award last year. This year, Wired chose ten new entrants ranging from Alienware’s Video Array to Infinium’s Phantom Console.
