WindowsMe demos this weekend
Microsoft will offer the first public showing of Windows Millennium Edition at movie theaters across the U.S. this weekend.
The upcoming next-generation version of Windows 9x will include universal plug and play, digital photo and music support, improved home networking, and the ability to restore crashed machines to previous states.
Audiences attending the free Spring 2000 eXtreme events will also see Pocket PC and FrontPage 200 demos broadcast live from Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
