IPv6, the next-generation version of the Internet Protocol, is completely integrated into Windows Vista. Even IPv6 address settings - which had only been accessible using arcane command line settings in the past - are completely integrated into the graphical interface. In fact, they may now be handled through the same dialogs and data entry fields that have long been used for IPv4 configuration.
In addition, it's no longer necessary to load IPv6 support manually. Windows Vista automatically binds this protocol stack to every new LAN adapter it encounters.

IPv6 is now activated as a separate protocol stack by default.

Network connection properties: even IPv6 Adapters are completely bound.

IPv4 and IPv6 under one heading.
