Windows Mobile Treo buzz builds
Rumors of an upcoming Palm Treo running Windows Mobile continue to surface. The latest tidbit comes from DigiTimes of Taiwan, which reports that Palm will likely outsource production of its next-generation Windows Mobile Treo, to HTC, with production commencing early in 2006.
DigiTimes cites the Chinese-language Commercial Times in reporting that volume shipments of the new device are expected to begin in the first quarter of next year. However, HTC declined to comment on the report, according to DigiTimes, citing client confidentiality restrictions.
