Windows 2000 bug fixes released
Without fanfare, Microsoft has posted the first set of enhancements and fixes to Windows 2000. This "service pack" is significant because important analysts had withheld their endorsement of Windows 2000 for businesses until questions about the software were resolved. If this upgrade settles those issues, Microsoft could benefit from a round of expanded corporate sales. The service pack applies to all available versions of Windows 2000 including Professional, Server, and Advanced Server.
