WinBook Launches New Ultra-Value Notebook
WinBook corporation has just announced its latest notebook PC, the WinBook J4 series featuring a 14.1" active-matrix screen with a maximum resolution of 1,024x768 (XGA), powered by an Intel Celeron 2GHz processor. Although it may not be the most powerful notebook available, its low price certainly makes up for this shortcoming. The Winbook J4 can be purchased for just $US699, or $US799 excluding the mail-in rebate, making it ideal for students and small businesses alike. "The new WinBook J4 731 Celeron 2.0 is designed for cost-conscious students, consumers and businesses. Featuring the Intel Celeron processor at 2.0 GHz, it includes a 14.1" screen with 1,024 by 768 resolution, 20 GB hard drive, 256 MB of fast DDR SDRAM and 8X DVD-ROM optical drive with modem and LAN connectivity included." .
