Analyst Mike Magee, having digested the recent Intel Corp. marketing roadmap, is speculating that the IA-64 Itanic platform may be in serious trouble. The roadmap makes no commitments concerning the line and at least one major OEM, Compaq, believes the strategy is a mistake.
