Philips 230WP7NS

When we tested a 20" Philips monitor a while back, but didn't think much of it. This time we've tested a 23" 16:10 model, and the Dutch manufacturer has clearly been hard at work, because this monitor stands out from the pack. While it's aimed mainly at the pro market, its very affordable price makes this a 23" monitor accessible for the general public.

Philips is aiming at the professional market, and the design shows it. The shell is plastic, but the finish is good and the materials are thick and solid. The part-metal base ensures stability. In short, this is a serious-looking monitor.
