WIDCOMM's Bluetooth Software Completes SIG Qualification
WIDCOMM announced today that its BTW Bluetooth communications software solution for Windows has gained certification for compliance with the requirements of the Bluetooth Specification Version 1.1. BTW supports a wide range of chipsets, including those from Cambridge Silicon Radio , Philips Semiconductor , and Texas Instruments . Earlier this month, WIDCOMM announced the certification of their BTE communications software solution for embedded systems. BTW supports ten Bluetooth profiles and all the principal versions of Windows. It can also be bundled with WIDCOMM's portfolio of Bluetooth product offerings for wireless non-PC devices including PDAs, network access points, headsets, mobile phones, printers, and audio equipment.
