White LED driver IC pricing drops sharply
The unit price for white LED driver ICs has fallen to $0.20, down from $0.35 in the middle of last year, as more fabless analog IC designers have entered the high-profit segment, according to sources in the industry. The sources also indicated that the price is expected to drop to $0.15 in the second half of this year.
