Whistler adds anti-piracy lock

by - source: Tom's Hardware

Microsoft Corp.'s most recently released build of its successor to Windows 2000, code-named Whistler, includes anti-piracy code meant to prevent copying of software from one machine to another. Microsoft will reportedly put similar anti-piracy codes in Office 10 and Visual Studio .Net.
