What Intel did wrong
PC World has produced a fascinating and relatively concise chronicle of what it calls the worst mistake Intel ever made. Titled "A Mother(board) of a Disaster," the article refers to "the company's problem-plagued, Rambus-based 820 chip set." According to PC World, the problem has not just hurt Intel, it has helped create Intel's biggest competitors.
