Westinghouse announces affordable 42" LCD television

Westinghouse Digital Electronics has announced a new 42" LCD monitor for a low price. The W4207 features a 1366 by 768 pixel resolution and can display 720p video. Westinghouse also claims the television has a 1600 to 1 contrast ratio and a daylight viewable panel.
Rounding out the other technical specifications of the monitor are the 16 to 9 wide-screen aspect ration and the 500 candela per square meter brightness. Pictures are viewable from the side with the W4207 impressive 178-degree viewing angle.
Two 15-watt audio speakers are integrated with in the television body, but most home theater buffs probably already own their own set of speakers.
The W4207 42" television is currently shipping for about $1500.
