Warhammer 40K MMORPG announced
Games Workshop and THQ have partnered up and have announced an online version the popular tabletop game Warhammer 40K. Rumors about the game’s development started last year when a Relect Entertainment posted a want advertisement for MMORPG developers, but rival studio Vigil Games now has the deal.
Warhammer 40K is a popular miniatures-based game with turn by turn combat. The game is set in a futuristic galaxy where hordes of Orcs and Chaos demons fight against the good forces of Humans and Eldar. Classic Warhammer 40K games can take several hours, even days to complete.
GameSpot interviewed THQ’s executive vice president of worldwide publishing to get further details about the game.
