Voice-over-IP phone service provider Vonage today said that it has exceeded 1.5 million lines in service. Despite a recent report on Alexa.com, which claims that the website traffic on vonage.com remained flat over the past months - indicating stalling consumer interest in the firm’s products at least on the website - customer additions appear to be healthy for Vonage : The provider was able to grow its base more than 50% within the past seven months.
Earlier this month, Vonage filed for an initial public offering, which is expected to raise up to $250 million for the company.
