Velocity Micro announces first pre-configured Geforce 8800 PC
Enthusiast PC builder Velocity Micro is first out of the gate to announce a computer that is available with Nvidia’s new Geforce 8800 graphics cards. The standard configuration of the "Velocity Raptor" is priced at $7400 and includes two EVGA 768 MB Geforce 8800 GTX cards, an EVGA-built Nforce 680i motherboard, Intel’s Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor, four 150 GB WD Raptor hard drives in RAID configuration, as well as a 18X and an 16x DVD burner. A monitor is not included in this setup.
According to Velocity Micro’s website, Geforce 8800 systems will be shipping by the end of this month.
