Visto hits Microsoft with lawsuit over wireless e-mail services
The legal battle over who owns key technology behind today’s proliferating wireless e-mail services has expanded, with Microsoft getting pulled into the fray by a small Silicon Valley firm.
Visto is suing Microsoft, claiming that the world’s largest software company has infringed on three of its patents related to securely sending e-mail from desktop PCs and accessing it on wireless devices like smart phones.
