VisionTek Launches ATI 9800 PRO Pre-order Program
VisionTek announced a pre-order program for the XTASY 9800 PRO. The 9800 PRO is powered by the just announced ATI RADEON 9800 GPU. VisionTek feels that because of the anticipated demand for the soon-to-be released RADEON 9800 PRO technology, VisionTek needs to launch a pre-order program to help serious gamers be among the first to get new 9800 Pro cards.
Customers may pre-order their XTASY 9800 PRO 128MB graphics boards from a variety of leading retailers and online stores including Amazon.com, CompUSA.com, Fry's Electronic's Outpost.com and GameStop.com. The product features 128MB of DDR memory and has an estimated retail price of $399.
The pre-order program begins today and is scheduled to run through March 31st. VisionTek's resellers will accept pre-orders only as long as allocated product is available. Product orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Valid pre-orders are scheduled to be shipped from resellers to consumers on March 31st.
