Virtual ICs improve design process
Icinergy Software says that its SoCarchitect software will allow IC designers to create "virtual prototypes" early in the design process. The Canadian company believes its product will save time and money by allowing engineers to run basic tests on designs long before register-transfer level coding begins. The software starts at $35,000.
