Viewsonic Corp. has introduced the its first 17" flat screen monitor.
The GF775 monitor uses Viewsonic's own PerfectFlat technology with a slot mask design to eliminate glare and reflection. The monitor is perfectly flat from edge to edge and has no visible damper wires, according to the company.
The new monitor features a 0.24 mm slot pitch and supports a 30kHz to 95kHz horizontal scan range, flicker-free resolution up to 1280-by-1024 at 88MHz, and a maximum non-interlaced resolution of 1600-by-1280 at 75MHz. It is compatible with both PC and Mac platforms and is selling for a suggested price of $475.
