ViewSonic delivers distortion-free flat monitor

ViewSonic has announced a new distortion-free, flat image 19" monitor.

The PF790 monitor uses ViewsSonic's patented PerfectFlat technology that eliminates curved surfaces and reduces light reflection for better picture clarity.

Designed for applications such as desktop publishing, imaging, pre-press, advanced gaming, and Internet design, the monitor provides a super fine 0.25 - 0.27 variable aperture grille pitch and a resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 90Hz. Its super dark flat panel and low 41 percent light transmission rate creates high contrast and especially vivid colors, company officials said.
