VIA's New 750MHz C3 Processor

VIA just announced its 750MHz VIA C3 processor. The company says the C3 has the world's smallest x86 processor die size at 52mm2 and is built using a 0.15 micron manufacturing process. The processor has a 128 kB Level 1 and 64 kB Level 2 cache, as well as support for 100/133MHz Front Side Bus, MMX, and 3DNow! instructions. The 750MHz VIA C3 processor is in ready to go out the door now, and is priced at US $49 in 1,000-unit quantities. VIA will be showing off its line of C3 processors at Computex Taipei.
