VIA to take aim at UMPC market
VIA Technologies is restructuring its business and taking aim at the Ultra-Mobile PCs (UMPCs) market, with the company expecting solid growth in the segment in 2007, according to VIA Technologies president and CEO, Wen-chi Chen. Chen also indicated that 2008 and 2009 will be a turning point for VIA in the UMPC market.
