VIA to take 50-55% of China chipset market next year
After settling its dispute with Intel over Pentium 4-supporting chipsets in April, VIA Technologies expects its share of the chipset market in China will grow to 30-35% by year-end and recover in 2004 to the 50-55% peak that it once held, said Frank Jeng, Asia-Pacific market director at VIA.
