Via restructures into three business groups
Via Technologies on November 21 announced a corporate restructuring, with existing business units along with product lines reorganized into three core business groups - CPU Platform, System Platform and MCE (Multimedia Consumer Electronics) - in an attempt to strengthen its efficiency and competitiveness.Wen-chi Chen will remain as the company’s president and CEO and become the general manager of the CPU Platform group, while two existing senior vice presidents will head System Platform and MCE.
