VIA Technologies reportedly nabs UMPC processor orders from OQO
VIA Technologies has reportedly snapped up orders for its UMPC (ultra-mobile PC) use processors and supporting chipsets from US-based vendor OQO, according to market sources. VIA’s shipments of the CPUs and chipsets to OQO this year will allow the US vendor to roll out 40,000 UMPCs, the sources said.
