VIA extending to USB 2.0 peripheral controller chip market in 3Q
VIA Technologies is set to start expanding its USB 2.0-based chip portfolio from host controllers to peripherals. The company will introduce an IDE interface controller chip in September and a card reader controller in the first quarter of 2003.
