VIA CPU shipments up 20 percent in 3Q
VIA Technologies saw its third-quarter desktop-CPU shipments increase 20 percent sequentially, according to a recent report from Merrill Lynch. The surge in shipments helped VIA increase its share of the desktop CPU market to 2.5 percent, the report stated.
