VIA and SiS may introduce new K7 chipsets
Chipset designers VIA Technologies and Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) said that they are considering adding new K7-platform chipsets with strengthened specifications to their product portfolio, as Advanced Micro Devices's (AMD) postponed launch of the new K8-core processors will keep older K7 products in the market mainstream for some time.
