Verbatim announces glossy printable CD-Rs, DVD+/-Rs
Verbatim will begin offering CD-Rs and DVD+/-Rs with a printable shiny white surface in April. The manufacturer claims that the new surface provides "superior ink absorption" and will enable "vibrant, full-color images and crystal-clear text" to be printed onto the media.
Verbatim will be selling 52x CD-R and 16x DVD+/-R version of its glossy media. Prices are expected to be about $20 for a 20-pack of CD-Rs and $25 for a 20-pack of DVD
Expected shelf pricing starts at $19.99 for the 20-pack of CD-Rs and $25 for the 20-pack of DVD+/-Rs.
