USR 11g to hit Wal-Mart shelves
U.S. Robotics just announced that its Model 8054 Wireless Turbo Access Point & Router and Model 5410 Wireless Turbo PC Card will be available at "select" Wal-Mart stores across the country starting this month.
The products support the 802.11g WLAN standard and are the first to use Texas Instruments’ TNETW1130 Multimode wireless chipset.
Wal-Mart already carries a wide array of 802.11b and 11b+ wireless networking products from Linksys, D-Link, Microsoft and USR, as well as 802.11g products from NETGEAR.
